The Hull Against the Machine
Each prediction states a question and a set of bands. We choose one, seal it, and anchor the seal in Bitcoin before the event. You pick before the timer ends. At zero, both answers open against the measured result.
This is not a Proof Posit. A Posit measures what happened. A prediction is a claim about what will. They share the seal apparatus and nothing else.

Verify a seal
The same six steps used on every Proof Posit. Any of them can be run without us.
- Compute the document digest:
sha256of the sealed bytes, and compare it with the seal record. - Look up the ledger event by its exact id and read the record back.
- Verify both ATECC608B hardware signatures. Both chips sign, or nothing is written.
- Verify the OpenTimestamps proof against the Bitcoin block named on the card.
- Verify on chain if you prefer: chain 4663 verifies P-256 natively at
0x100(RIP-7212), so a contract can check the seal with no oracle. - Reproduce the resolution from the published working, against the resolution rule that was sealed with the prediction.
